Why is sleep so important?
Why is sleep so important? I’ve just watched this TED talk by Matt Walker, and it gave me a bit of a wake-up call! Sorry for the bad pun, but it was really powerful. I highly recommend you watch it.
I have often been someone who burns the candle at both ends, surviving on less sleep than I know I really need. I didn’t realise the damage I was doing to my body. It’s really quite scary. After this I will definitely commit to giving myself a set bedtime, and hopefully I will start to see the effects of having regularity in my sleep patterns.
Project 365
I set up this website after deciding that I want to build a more creative life for myself, so I can give up my job and be in control of my own destiny.
I have set myself a goal of publishing an article on my website every day this year, to document my journey from employment to self-employment.
The name I chose was Project 365 because I see this as a year that I have dedicated to learning and self-development, as I countdown to freedom. It started on 1st January 2021, so I have 331 days to go!
