Publishing

Today is a Friday, and I am looking forward to the weekend, full of excitement and promise. It is also September 11^th. Noticing the date made me reflect on the fact that it is 19 years to the day since I made the decision to leave my previous employer, to find a more meaningful career. The horrific events of that day were a catalyst which lead to a new phase in my life, one which has been full of learning and growth. But all things must come to an end. I have decided to leave paid employment and am embarking on a self-employed career, part of which includes publishing this blog. I feel a mix of trepidation and exhilaration. There is a fear of the unknown, but I cannot wait to challenge myself to see exactly what I can achieve.
